You can discover the beauty and magic of the river Thames weather you hire one of our boats for a day, for a short break or for a whole week.
After a boat handover which explains the rules and safety aspects of boating you can set off to discover the secret of the river for yourself passing through locks staffed by helpful and informative lock keepers.
A days hire will take you downstream to Hampton Court Palace passing by Chertsey, Shepperton, Sunbury and Molesley with plenty of places to stop for lunch along the way. If you wanted to head off upstream towards Windsor Castle a days hire would take you past the beautiful setting of Runnymede where you would then reach Windsor with numerous eating establishments and the breath taking backdrop of Windsor castle where countless proposals of marriage have been made and accepted on our boats.
A romantic two day break would take you pass Windsor and Bray towards Cookham with its magnificent and peaceful scenery where you could then turn back and head into the delightfully tranquil setting of Bray marina for your overnight stay.
The much acclaimed Riverside Brasserie is on site for a truly pleasurable meal to finish off your day.
On your return day you could stop off at Windsor or Datchet or maybe you would like to travel pass our base at Penton Hook a little downstream before you return your boat.
A five or seven day hire on one of our boats opens even more of the magic of the river Thames to you.
Traveling further upstream you pass Cookham and its pleasant surroundings before reaching the stunning National trust Clivden House and gardens.
For your first nights stay depending on how much boating you wish to do you could stop at either Windsor, Bray or Borne End staying in a marina or moor up riverside.
Further along as you pass the hills, woods and meadows are Bourne End, Marlow, Hurley and Hambledon with its much photographed white weather boarded mill before finally arriving at the famous Henley on Thames.
Upstream from Henley bridge is Wargrave, Sonning, Caversham, Pangbourne, Goring, Wallingford and many other little gems all dotted along the river waiting to be discovered.
The real pleasure of boating on the Thames is that you can decide when you want to cruise along and when you want to stay and explore the picturesque places that catch your eye.
