No license or boating experience is required to hire our luxury deck boat which holds up to 8 people and is perfect for family and friends who want to enjoy a great day out together on the river.

A safety and boat handover briefing will be given prior to leaving our base at Penton Hook Marina by our staff who hold the RYA Inland waterways helmsman certificate.

We provide the most flexible boat rental service around. We offer short breaks in the peak boating season. You decide what dates are best for you and start and finish on whatever day you want.
Our prices include the boat rental fee, two car parking spaces per boat which is covered by CCTV as well as a cancellation fee and the 15% VAT. We do not require you to pay a security deposit.
The only other costs are your fuel and an accidental damage wavier.
We won’t insist that you take our boats out if it’s raining as we know that boating and rain is not much fun. Just book another date with us, that’s what the cancellation fee is for.
You pay the hire price and the non refundable accidental damage waiver plus a £6 per hour running charge for fuel.
The boats have a digital hour meter which shows the engine running time.
